John William Lynch and his wife Susannah Allen

I am researching John William Lynch b:1785 d:1860 and his wife Susannah Allen b:1788 d:1748. They lived in Farmville, Amelia Co. VA. Their children were Samuel Allen Lynch, William Foster Lynch, Elizabeth S. Lynch, Benjamin W. Lynch, John D. Lynch and Richard Brannin Lynch. After Susannah's death, John William Lynch married Nancy Robertson and they had one son, James R. Lynch. We have hit a wall with John William Lynch and Susannah Allen. We believe he may have been the son of William Charles Lynch, III and Sarah "Sally" Adams, but have no proof. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. I will respond to any inquiry on this line.
