Hi!

I am looking for information on ERNEST BUTLER Lynch b. 1805/6, son of ERNEST BUTLER and CLARA VIRGINIA CAPITO. Also, daughter MARY ELLEN and any other children.

ERNEST B. Sr. b. 9 Sep 1872 was one of the sons of JAMES LEWIS and MARY ELLEN HARRIS, m. 1854. Children were: OSCAR b. 1855, WILLIAM b. 1856, CLAYTON b. 1858, ELIZABETH b. 1860, GRACE b. 1862, EDWARD b. 1864, THOMAS b. 1865, ANNIE b. 1868, and GEORGE b. 1874.

After ERNEST, Sr. passed CLARA remarried MATHEW F. CARNER in Roanoke, VA and moved to Norfolk, VA.

I have a CAPITO chart giving the names of ERNEST, ERNEST, Jr., and MARY ELLEN as CLARA's 1st spouse and children. I am descended from her second marriage. I am interested in finding ancestors, cousins, and descendants of ERNEST, Sr. and Jr.

ERNEST, Jr. must have served in the military in 1929/1930 as he sent a telegram to my grandfather stating he couldn't attend my grandfather's high school graduation because he had "manuevers".

Anyone here know of them?
