I'm so happy to find a new cousin.
I have nothing on Jeter's family other than he married Nanny Martin. If you could give me his children, I'd be most grateful.
I've spent the last few years trying to preserve his father's grave from development. William Lynch was a Rev. War vet, and is buried in what was Pendleton Dist. SC.
The Martin's also lived in Pendleton, and I believe that he and Nannie married here.
Jeter is named in William Lynch's will dated 1820.
I know that Geter was still in Pendleton, SC in 1798, as he is named as owing the estate of Mathias Cleveland, 25 Jan 1798.
Jeter was born in Pittslyvania County, VA, of Irish descent. Starr's Genealogy is correct there, but he wasn't born in Ireland.
