Leslie, I'm researching my Lynch lines in RI too and many of the first names you mention run in my family also.
My GG-Grandparents were John Lynch and Mary Ellen Jordan.John was born in Ireland circa 1850.Mary Jordan was born in Rice City on the Conn/RI border. They had two sons, William Lawrence (1877-1935) and Thomas John. Both sons were born in Wisconsin for some reason but they all returned to RI about 1890. William married my great grandmother Laura Madison on 5/21/1897 in East Greenwich. They had 3 children; Lily, Edward and Dorothy.Edward married my grandmother, Sarah Smith, 7/03/1926 in Pawtucket and then settled in Cumberland. Many of my Lynch family still live in Cumberland including my Aunt Nancy who still lives in the family home at the corner of Mendon Rd and Nate Whipple Hwy.
William Lynch divorced my great grandmother in 1920 and remarried soon after.I don't know the name of his second wife or if they had children. He married a third time in December 1929 in Warwick to Kathryn Reid. They are buried in Apponaug.
Have you or Byrne Stoddard ever ran across my Lynchs' in your research?
I will be coming to RI (from Florida) for a Lynch Family reunion in Pascoag on August 18. This is not the same reunion Mr. Stoddard mentions.
