My GGgrandmother was the oldest child of George W. Lynch.Have you seen the name spelled Linch?
My GGgrandmother was named Mary E.and married a Horton in Coweta Co, GA before 1860.They had two children in the 1860 census, but by 1870 the husband and children were gone. Died?

In 1873 she married a widower, David Harris, who had three sons.He and Mary had two sons and a daughter.The youngest son is my Ggrandfather.She died between 1900 and 1910 and is buried at Whitewater Baptist Church in Fayette Co.

George W. Lynch died in Coweta Co in 1891 and I have seen some of the estate records in the Coweta Co Probate Court Office.It listed his children as:

I found marriage records for Martha Jane and Nancy in Coweta Co.Apparently the daughter liked Chappells. Caroline apparently never married.
