I've not run across any Thomas Lynams in my lineage yet (other than middle name of a great-grandfather). I'll keep this all in mind, though, as I continue to dig an sift. My gr-gr-grandfather was from the southern part of Westmeath, so certainly close to Offaly. I suppose if one can go back far enough, all of the central Ireland Lynams are probably related.
