Rick & Jael: I've followed your thread. I believe my Lyman portion of my family tree may connect with the Samuel you are speaking about. But I can't put the pieces together.

My great grandmother was Maria H. Lyman, born Aug. 12, 1842 in Coventry, Tolland County, Conn. She married Earle Hatheway and from this union came my grandfather, Lyman Earle Hatheway, born Aug. 21, 1877, in Suffield, Hartford, Conn.

Can you help me get beyond Jacob Lyman, b. 1721?
