Hi, Richard. No...unfortunately our side of the family was shut out of Pierpont's money.

From all I've read, Juliet Pierpont Morgan, his mother and niece of my (three) great-grandfather Henry Edwin Lord, was chronically depressed. So was her mother, Mary Sheldon Lord Pierpont. Juliet predeceased her husband, Junius Morgan, who spent much of his time in England on business. Not a happy household, apparently.

The Lyman connection between us is solid. Northampton, MA was Joseph Lyman's home. There's a family connection to Lyman Beecher (and Henry Ward and Harriet), but I'm not 100% clear on how it works.
