Why would you be in doubt at all? Royal families have made such a habit of tracking the blood lines for centuries. No she was not a princess, however, she was decsended from Sir John Lambert who escaped from the Tower of London, as well as there is a 3rd Viscount Michael John Lambert, listed in the Peerage 2000 edition.

Lamberts are also from royalty of Europe. Through the De Umfraville family and the "de Quincy" a Magna Carta Surities and Knight of the Garter.
