Seeking information on William (Billy) Lyman, the son of Irish immigrants, and his children. He was born in PA about 1849 and grew up in Maytown, IL. In the 1880 Census, he was living with his widowed mother, Anna Lyman, in Amboy, IL and was working in a restaurant. He may have moved to Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IL, and married, probably after his mother's death about 1883, and he eventually moved to Chicago. We believe he had three children: Harold (Harry), James and May.
We are looking for the name of Billy's wife, the birth dates, etc. of his children, and information on any descendants. We estimate that he died about 1931, but have no confirmation of this.
