The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa

Teachers Elected for Next Year -- At a meeting of the School Board held last Friday evening:
MRS. LAURA GOW and the MISSES IVA BALDWIN, DELIA COURTLEYOW, ADDA MANNING, AUGUSTA HOUSEHOLDER, MARGARET GAY, ETTA LAYTON, IDA BEEM, HELEN VAN ARSDALE. HARRIET STANLEY, MYRTLE EASTMAN, MAGGIE BEEM, MAMIE BEST, LOUISE SINGER, MOLLIE FREEL, LULU MCMASTERS, AGNES WILSON, NELLIE HANLIN, ALMA CLAY and SYLVIA KEENER were re-elected teachers in our public schools. The new teachers elected were MISS MARY BRYANT, of Hedrick and the MISSES SYLVIA DOUGLASS, MABEL LYMAN and ANNA WESTLING of this city. MISS LULU MCMASTERS has declined the position tendered her for next year which leaves a vacancy which will probably be filled at the next meeting of the Board.
