I'm descended of Ebenezer Lyman b. 1682 MA. I'm also what you would probably call a distant cousin and live in Torrington Connecticut. I show this Ebenezer m. 1706 to Experience Pomeroy, dau of John A. and Mindwell (Sheldon) Pomeroy, that is all I have on the Pomeroy family and would certainly love to learn more. I'm also related to Harriet Beecher Stowe who wrote "Uncle Tom's Cabin". A Litchfield man purchased the Harriet B. Stowe home (from and removed from Forman School grounds) and is searching for an appropriate place to rebuild it.
I'm also descended of Sarah Lyman who married Joel Wetmore, who is also in my family tree.
I'm looking forward to hearing from any Lyman cousins.
