I have a Sylvester LYMAN b. Abt 1798, son of Asa Lyman, Sr. and Submit Mitchell. I am descended from this Sylvester's brother Johnson who married a Polly Ann (last name unknown). Johnson was born in VT (per Census record), in 1830 lived in Erie County, NY (supposedly married there) and around 1836-38 moved to NW Ohio where he lived until his death in 1875.
I have copies of letters between Johnson and his sister Eliza dated 1869 and 1870. She was living in
Constableville, Lewis Co., NY at the time. She askes if he has heard anything from any of their brothers or sisters.
