In his book Lyman Coleman says that my 4great grandfather Jesse Lyman enrolled in the revolutionary army at age 16 and served under General Washington. He also says Jesse volunteered in the war of 1812 and fought at Plattsburg.Has this been verified by anyone.I see some people questioning Lyman Coleman's facts and now I wonder how much we can really rely on the facts in his book.
