First let me say, it's good to be back!! I've been absent nigh on a year from Genforum and my research. Bill, please forgive the format in which this text shall be given, but I just want to feel out some surnames for now. I would like to see if anyone, in all their Lyman research, has connected to any of the following surnames:

Barnum, (namely:Mary Emma Barnum)

Mary Emma Barnum was the sister of, yes you guessed it, P.T. Barnum, of circus fame.
Sylvester Chichester was kin to Sir Francis Chichester; yachtsman and commander in 'Her Majesty's" Royal Fleet.
Dirksen; kin to Senator Everett Dirksen of Illinois.

Anyhow, this is my lineage. Gladys and Edwin are(were) my Grandparents. This line is all on Gladys's side by the by.

I do have all the dates and details if wanted. Just checking out the contacts before I wear out my fingers for naught!

Happy Hunting to all,

Laurie A. Thornton
