I have a g-g-g-g-great grandfather John Lyman, son of Richard Lyman IV and Mary Woodward.
Born 21 January 1711 in Lebanon, New London,Ct. After the birth of his eight children, he moved to Vermont where he died in Brookfield 18 April 1804.
His oldest son John was born 7 Dec. 1740.
I hope this will help you - feel free to ask for anything else you might need.
