Being that Richard Lyman is my direct ancestor, I wish this was true. There is in the Lyman Genealogy by Lyman COLEMAN the claim that through Elizabeth Lambert wife of Thomas Lyman b. abt 1470 that a connection can be made through Joane De Umfreville wife of Sir William Lambert. But this is wishful thinking, with out any proof.
And according to many genealogists who have researched the Lyman family name, there is no proof that this Richard Lyman can be connected to Royalty. If you do find the proof I would love to see it.
