I too am a descendent of Richard and Sarah. My concern regards Major Chester Lyman. He is listed as the son of Daniel (Samuel, Richard, Richard, Richard.) We have a Geneological Chart of Lyman Family by L. Coleman dated 1872 which lists a Joseph between Daniel and Major Chester. Daniel was born 1704 and died 1784. Major Chester was born 1783 which would make Daniel a father at age 79, his wife a mother at 65. This seems very unlikely to me. On page 85 of The Geneologoly of Lyman family by L. Coleman lists children of Daniel at 1. Mehitable b.1731, 2 Zilpah b.1733, 3 Richard b.nothing known, 4. Joseph b. about 1734, 5. William b. no date and 5. (again) Major Chester b. 1783. Perhaps you could shed some light on this mystery.
Thanks..
