Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

When you mention the Lyman Book, are you referring to the one by Lyman Coleman? I am a descendant of Richard>>>>>>Josiah, James David Lyman b. 1828 in St. Lawrence Co., NY.
Wherever you find information, it is always good to do follow up research and be sure you have the documentation to prove your family history.
FTM online has a lot of Lyman information. Have you tried searching there?
