Hi, Janet. We may not be related but I thought I'd share what I have. Maybe somewhere we'll connect.

My g-g-grandfather, Edwin LYMAN, was born March 2, 1827, in Osego, NY, and died in Parsons, KS. No known date. Around 1851 Edwin married Amanda Jane Downing, who is thought to have been born in MI. She died near La Grange, TX. No birth/death dates on Amanda.

I do not know Edwin's parents' names nor do I know of his siblings. I don't know Amanda Jane Downing Lyman's family names, either.

CHILDREN: Frederick, d. 1863; Frederick, 1857-1859; Joy Monroe, 1860-1917; Cora
Bell, 1863-1957; Fred Milton, 1868-1930 (my ancestor); Winifred, 1872-1899; Faith, 1875-1905; Ida Jane Hope, 1877-1947.
