AL 1860 census] m. Joseph Evans) 1800 1802 2 boys 16-20 1804 1 boy 16-18 1806 1808 2 boys 10-16 1810 2 boys, 2 girls 0-10 1812 1814 (Margaret m. Thomas Edmondson) 1816 Washington Lyles m. Mary (possibly Whisenant, or var.) in 1797 So, Mary must have died bet. 1816-1820. ***************************************** Males First-born son: named after the father's father Second-born son: named after the mother's father Third-born son: named after the father Fourth-born son: named after the father's eldest brother Fifth-born son: named after the father's second oldest brother or mother's oldest brother Females First-born daughter: named after the mother's mother Second-born daughter: named after the father's mother Third-born daughter: named after the mother Fourth-born daughter: named after the mother's eldest sister Fifth-born daughter: named after the mother's second oldest sister or father's oldest sister ********************************************* What would be Wash's boys' names?
