I am also looking for information on the Lyle family from Antrim, Ireland and Illinois. My ancestor is Thomas M. Lyle (b. 11 Jan 1817 in County Antrim, Ireland,
m. Sarah Knox - date unknown). Thomas Lyle came to the United States when he was an infant with his parents. They located in Illinois and in that state he continued to reside after his marriage. In 1851 he moved to Tennessee, and from that point to Drew County, Arkansas. Sarah died in 1802 and Thomas married Mrs. Jane Minerva (Boyd) Duncan of Bradley County, Arkansas. To the first marriage were born nine children.

Thomas Lyle's father was David Lyle and mother Jane Stuart. According to information I could find, David and Jane Lyle had eight children. The only one I know about is Thomas. Is it possible that
