Hello Gary,
Sorry to say that I am not researching the Lyle surname. I post obituaries from Tennessee and Kentucky newspapers in hopes the information will help others. So, I don't have any personal research in formation to share.
As for the Barker name, that is my married name and I have been researching it for over 20 years now. The Barker's related to my husband are from the Wilson County, TN. and the Stewart County, TN. areas of Tennessee. At the present time I have not yet traced any of them to Georgia. The farthest I have been able to trace is back to Andrew Jackson Barker born abt. 1834 in Tennessee and married to Elvira Jemima Sanders/Saunders on January 4, 1854 in Wilson County, TN.
