I've been scouring the web for info too, with limited success. I look forward to hearing what you end up finding out about the Roes.
Did you say you had more info going back farther on the Mehitable Robinson line, beyond her parents? I'd love to see what you have at some point. You may email me privately if you have things to forward.
I am really getting into research mode lately, that's for sure!
I was looking at a website that is all about the Northeast Kingdom VT, and has some cemetery listings. They also have some from lower Canada. I found a couple of ancestors from my Hyde and Aiken lines, (that ended up connecting to the Lyford and Roe line later on). Someone has been going to cemeteries and copying every tombstone, and putting it on the site.
I'm making a list of towns to call to see what they have for records. Unfortunately alot of the small towns seem to no longer have any records before the 1900s.
