Charles H. Mc Gorey of Winfield The funeral for Mr. Charles H. Mc Gorey will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, and proceed to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Born June 4, 1915, in Chicago, he died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005. Mr. Mc Gorey was a 40-year proprietor of Mc Gorey's Tavern in Forest Park and formerly in Chicago. He served for over four years in the Army, and was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Sheehan Mc Gorey; dear son of the late Charles and Margaret (nee Lydon) Mc Gorey; loving brother of John, Catherine (the late Robert) O'Neill, Bernice (Art) Nolan, and the late Margaret (the late Frank) ReCupido, Eleanor, Evelyn (the late Robert) Duffy and Harold; and uncle and great-uncle to many.
