I need help with a marriage lookup if anyone has a free minute. Michael Lydon b. 1889 Ireland married Mary McNicholas. He was single upon his arrival in the US in 1913. He is single on is WWI draft registration card in June 1917. He is married on the petition for naturalization dated 22 Apr 1920 and also on the 1920 census. The census states he was married at 27 years old which would be 1916-1917. In 1999 I requested Cook County Vital Statistics to do a marriage search from 1915 to 1918. They were not able to find any. She worked for a while as a maid in Brooklyn, NY and I have checked the grooms list there with no success. Their children were baptized in St. Brendan's Church in Chicago where perhaps their marriage would have taken place. If anyone has anymore clues or places to check, I would appreciate it.
