I wanted to post thanks to both Claude and Jim for the information you posted. It has been a tremendous help in rounding out the history of our ancestors. My sister and I had a wonderful trip to Luxembourg. We spent time at the archives in Luxembourg City for some research but our time was limited. We also rented a car and drove to the Mamer, Hovelange, Beckerich and Holzem areas. We found the house that our father's parents lived in when he was born in 1899. I asked after you Claude at the archives and they knew you but said you were not there the day we were there. It seems there is always more to learn and every new piece of information just raises new questions. Luxembourg is a beautiful country.

Noreen
