They appear in the census of 1880, together with their family. The profession of Nicolas Clement in 1880 was "Ackerer" (farmer).
Dominique Clement, the father of Nicolas Clement, was born the 2nd of January 1807 (birth record number 1), he died the 18th of June 1836 in Steinfort (death record number 10). His parents were Nicolas Clement (a farmer) and Margaretha Kaulisch(?) from Hagen. Elisabeth Hausemer, the mother of Nicolas Clement, was born the 2nd of January 1804 (birth record number 11), she died the 2nd of January 1859 in Steinfort (death record number 2). Her parents were Valentin Hausemer (a weaver) and Susanne Schemberg (a weaver) from Kleinbettingen.
Anna Saler, the mother of Nicolas Clement, was born the 10th of March 1835 in Steinsel (birth record number 23, 14th of March 1835). Her parents were Jean Pierre Saler (a farmer) and Catherine Grunen. Catherine Grunen, the mother of Anna Saler, was born the 7th of March 1813 in Steinsel (birth record number 9). The parents of Catherine Grunen were Theodore Grunen (a farmer) and Marie Muller.
