Nicholas J. Peiffer, age 27, emigrated to USA - central Minnesota in 1896. He was ordained a priest in Luxembourg. Where was he from? Where was he ordained as a priest?
He returned to Luxembourg for a short visit in 1900 when his father died. He returned to Eden Valley, Stearns County, Minnesota where he was the pastor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Nicholas Peiffer stayed in Eden Valley as the pastor until 1934!
He returned to Luxembourg after retiring as a priest, and he died at Goetzingen on 2 September 1940.
