Geography Help: Biver, Luxemburg, Germany ???

Hello - Does anyone know where Biver, Luxemburg, Germany refers to, between the years 1847 & 1866?

My Great Great Grandfather, Francis Kirbach, came from Biver, Luxemburg, Germany. He was born Dec 15, 1847. I believe he emmigrated from there to the U.S. in 1866. He settled in SW Illinois. Various writings say he's from Biver, Luxemburg, Germany.

In the same Catholic cemetery that he's buried in, there's a grave for Jonas Kirbach, dob Oct 6, 1833, which also says "Biver, Luxemburg, Germany."

I have a bad photo copy of the Catholic church Francis attended as a child in "Biver, Luxemburg, Germany." It says the church was bombed during the war, but had been renovated. The back was still the same old church, but the front was rebuilt to look like the original.

Help - I'd love to know where Biver, Luxemburg, Germany is.

Thank you,
Cathy Kirbach
