captain's log/ship's records

I am trying to locate the port of entry as well as the captain's log or ship's record for my great-grandparents. My great -grandmother, Mary Volz Sand, had 4 small children when she and my great-grandfather, John Sand, emigrated from Luxembourg in 1891. Mary was pregnant and gave birth on board to twins, a boy and a girl. The girl died shortly after birth and was buried at sea. Her twin, my great-uncle, was given a delayed birth certificate, which stated Dubuque, Iowa as his birthplace. Does anyone know how I can obtain the ship's or captain's records to verify my great-aunt's birth and death? Thank You.
