Thank you for your reply. Maria Weber was born in Emeringen near Erpeldingen/Bous called currently Emeringerhof, abt. 5 miles away from Emeringen in Luxembourg, but on the french border. There are abt. 6 houses. The Kummer family is mostly in the community of Bous - Erpeldingen - Emeringerhof.
Nicolas Kummer, Father of Nicolas was born in Mutfort( or Moutfort).
My book on the community of Bous will be edited abt october/november 2003.
I am interested on all descendants of of the inhabitants, and so for the descendants of the Kummer in the US.
