I, too, am researching teh Kummer, Weber, Pauly families of Erpeldingen, Remich, LUX.
Here is the information which I have found:
Johann Kummer, b. 15 Jun 1739, Canach, Remich, LUX
md 9 Feb 1764 at Neunkirchen, Remich LUX to
Marie Weber, b 15 Dec 1739, Erpeldingen-les Bous, Remich, LUX
They had 10 children born between 1764 to 1782.
Johann Kummer, died 30 Dec 1793 in Erpeldingen, and Marie (Weber) Kummer, died 14 Jan 1812 in Erpeldingen.
Johann Kummer was the son of Nicolas Kummer and Maria Barthel.
Nicolas and Maria were married bef 1722. They had 8 known children between 1722 and 1739. Nicolas was born in 1697 in Gostingen, and died 9 May 1761 in Canach, and Maria (Barthel) Kummer died 3 Sep 1760, also in Canach.
Nicolas Kummer (father of Nicolas) was born abt 1670 in Moulfort, LUX; he married Margaretha Weltes/Feltes 29 Jan 1696 in Lenningen, LUX. He died 2 Aug 1722 in Gostingen and Margaretha remarried after his death to Nicolas Liesch.
Nicolaus and Margaretha (Weltes/Feltes) Kummer had 4 known children, born between 1696 and 1701 in Gostingen.
Marie Weber, b 15 Dec 1739 in Emering, Moselle, FR ,and wife of Johann Kummer, is the daughter of Thedodore "Dietrich" Weber and Anna Maria Pauly. Anna Maria (Pauly) Weber died 11 Apr 1747 in Erpelding. Theodore and Anna Maria had 5 known children born between 1733 and 1747. Theodore was previously married to Anna Magdalena Stefan, with whom he had 6 known children between 1721 to 1732. Theodore "Dietrich" Weber was born 29 Jul 1697 in Kleinmacheren, LUX the son of Oswald Weber/Veber and Anna N.N.; he died 12 Jan 1767 at Erpeldingen. Anna Maria (Pauly) Weber was the daughter of Martin and Johanna Pauly.
Martin and Johanna Pauly had four known children, born between 1715 and 1725 at Emering, Moselle, FR.
I also have a great deal of information on the Kummer descendants both in Luxembourg and in the US.
