I cannot make up what this passage means. It could be some kind of corrupted and misspelled German maybe intermingled with some Luxembourgish element. Luxembourgish as a written language appears later in the 19th century. (The first book in Luxembourgish is published in 1829 by Antoine Meyer).
Moreover nowadays many people experience difficulties reading handwriting in old script. So there might be reading mistakes added to the above text. Could you scan the passage and mail the image, maybe some other text samples too?
I do not know of handwritten books with prayers etc. Are the texts clearly identified as such?
What exists, in religious matters, are a few handbooks from priest, with notes and preparations for sermons and other addresses they delivered.
Other similar books contain sometimes recipes and notes on medicines to prepare in order to cure all kinds of ills for humans and domestic animals.
The only word I can identify is Biewer, which is both a family name and also a place name (in eastern Luxembourg near Grevenmacher). The fact that it was writen inside the cover makes me think that it could be the name of the owner or else some kind of dedication.
