Hello fellow Etringer!
I was pleasantly surprised to find your name among many others, posted on the quiery at geneology.com. As, I am sure you know, the name is very uncommon and very little is known about the family history. My great-grandfather was Peter Etringer, but I do not think that he was the same one you were looking for because I am only fifteen. My grandfather's wife was Rose Etringer(for who my middle name is made namesake).The Etringer part of my family dwells/settled(?)in Wisconsin-does yours? I would really appreciate any information you could give me on our family's geneology or origin.
