I have some information on this Peter Hengel He was born in Machtum, Luxembourg Aug 11, 1830. (not sure why there is a difference in birth date) He married Katherine Fehlen

OBITUARY: Journal, Sept. 26, 1903 from Brown County, MN Historical Society
states Mr. Hengel was born Sept. 11, 1830 in Luxemburg and came to America in
1858 settling in Chicago. After a residence there of two years he returned to
his native land where he remained one year and then returned to this country,
settling in Milford.

I have done a book on this branch of the Hengel family
