I'm not a LUX researcher but have sent for posting a biography of PETER LUX of Shelby Co., Iowa, taken from the 1915 history of that county, to the USGenWeb page. You can see the bio there in a few days.
In the meantime, here are some points:
Peter Lux, son of John Peter and Mary Eva (BLUM) LUX, b. Dec 24, 1861, Rhine province, Germany. In 1890 the family came to Iowa. The mother died in 1902. Nine children were born to John Peter and Mary Eva Lux: Peter, Angeline, Eva, Katherine, Martin, Hubert, Thomas, Mary, and Anna.
