I also have traced back to a Peter Lux from Germany. I don't think it is the same one that I've read many postings about. Mine was born January 11, 1809 in the Province of Lorain which had been tranferred from German sovereignty to the French Empire. My Peter Lux was of the Teuton family. I don't know exactly when he came to America, but I do know he located in Logansport, Indiana in 1830. Have any of you researching the name of Peter Lux come across any information on my Peter Lux? He seems to be as far back as I have been able to get so far.
