Ontario, Canada: Samuel/Sampson Lutz/Lutes b. 1739
Posted by: David Hemmings (ID *****7037) Date: August 24, 2009 at 08:16:32
  of 1687

Does anyone please have more genealogical connections to Samuel/Sampson Lutz/Lutes who was in the 1783 census for Niagara Twp., Ontario, Canada as a Butler's Ranger.

The census enumerator wrote in 1783:
Samuel Louts, age 44
Sarah Louts, age 36
John Louts, age 14
George Louts, age 11
Samuel Louts, age 6
Job Louts, age 3
Sarah Louts, age 10

There is also a study on mills around eastern Niagara:
"A saw-mill on Four Mile Creek, township No. 1, in 1792, by Sampson Lutes." Four Mile Creek is on the western edge of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

I am seeking ancestors and descendants.
Thanks,

David
