Looking for family of Mollie Cowan Luttrell Thompson, daughter of Marion Cowan and Mariah Truss. Mollie was born 17 Aug 1867 in St. Clair Co AL. Her family moved to north Texas about 1885, first to Van Zandt Co and then to Grayson Co. About 1886 she married a Mr. Luttrell, by whom she had children Belle Luttrell b. Nov 1887, Jennie Luttrell b. Apr 1890, John Luttrell b. Feb 1892, and James Cowan Luttrell b. Mar 1894. From census records Mr. Luttrell was born in Tennessee.
Mr. Luttrell died or they divorced and she married Ed D. Thompson by whom she had William Leroy Thompson b. Aug 1899, and Joe Thompson b. 1902. They are near Leonard in Fannin Co TX in the 1900 census. Mr. Thompson died before the 1910 census. Mollie is in Grayson Co in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. In the 1910 she says she had had 8 children of which 6 were living.
Mollie died 22 Dec 1960 and is buried in the Sadler Cemetery. The only one of her children I have been able to track is her son James Cowan Luttrell, 12 Feb 1894 to 3 Feb 1973.
