Thank You so much...I knew they were in Jackson co., Mo. by 1860 census...and their son William W. age 16 was still with them, by 1870 he's gone.....do you have any idea what happened to him...the reason I ask, there was a William W. Nelson in Bollinger Co., Mo. who opened a store up at age 22 there with a James Rogers......I figured he had to have money from somewhere....and this Richard Nelson had tons in the 1860 census and even more in 1870......but my problem, it's such an odd distance from Kansas city, down to Bollinger co., Mo......and the William W. in Bollinger co. got married in 1869 to a Margaret McManus in Cape Girardeau.....do you have any idea what happened to Nancy Luttrell & Richard Nelson's son?....could this be him? thanks
