Looking for descendants of John O. Luthy of Monroe Co., Ohio. John was born 16 Feb 1802 in Canton Berne, Switzerland. He died 13 Jun 1881 in Sardis, Ohio Township, Monroe County, Ohio.
My husband is a descendant of John's son Charles Henry Luthy who came to Jackson County, Illinois after the Civil War. He fought in the Civil War, enlisting in Company A, 77th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 05 December 1861.
Any descendants of John O. Luthy's children who stayed in Ohio, or went to Iowa? I know daughters Nancy, Anna, and Mary Louise all married and moved to Iowa.
