The Luther Genealogy published 2001 has information on Amanda and her sons Edward Clarence Briggs and John C. Earle.
The book references records of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Famiy rec. give Amanda while unmarried, had 2 children, one by James M. Briggs born abt 1822 an reared by Aunt Mary Briggs Luther and one by John C. Earle.
It says children by James M. Briggs - (under study; seeking confirmation) and the lists Edward Clarence Briggs and John C. Earle.
