Dear June,

Thank you so much for your response. I may have met Bryl Clark last year. I went with one of my aunts to the cemetery on Simerly Creek Road, the one that is near the rock church building. There was a man who walked from his house nearby with his dogs up to the Cemetery. He said his son had a lot of genealogy information and invited us down to the house to see some of the collected material. I should go down and see him. My mother lives about 5 miles or so away from him, but I now live near Nashville and I don't get to go up to East Tennessee very often and it seems like to time there is so limited.

The drive up to Clark Town is really scary for me. I'm always afraid that I'll meet someone coming down and that I'll have to back up and I'm terrible at backing even on a staight road. My grandparents, Andy David Clark and Martha Berry Clarkwere both born there. They lived on top of Iron Mountain on the NC side when I was growing up.

I just looked again at the Lusk Family Tree on and found that the siblings of Suzanne Lusk had been added. The children of Samuel Lusk and Mary Tawson according to this family tree are:
Elizabeth Lusk, b. 1824
Suzanne Lusk, b. 1828
Eliza Lusk, b. 1832
Elkana Lusk, b. 1835
Orpha Lusk, b. 1836
Catherine Lusk, b. 1842
John Lusk, b.1844
Andrew Lusk, b. 1847

This was new information to me. I also found a private site today that requires a password that has 30 Lusk family trees. If I find out any more about our Samuel Lusk I'll let you know. I wish we knew where they were from and perhaps what brought them to America.

Thank you once again.

Pam Archer
