Lusk in Wisconsin

I was surprised to see most Lusk families of Irish or Scottish decent. Our family is neither. Mathias Lusk and his wife Anna Marie Ritt were from Bohemia. I do not know the exact town but he was born in the year 1823. Their 1st son Joseph was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1855 which was the year they moved to a community of Germans, Bohemias, and People from Luxenburg called St. Joseph, Wisconsin. This small Catholic town is located about 10 miles on top of the ridges above the Mississippi River near La Crosse, WI. The farm they settled on has been in the Lusk family for 145 years.
