Hi Mary. I have a Lusk history that my cousin and her husband researched. It seems that lots of the Lusk went to MO. My great grandfather Adoniram Lusk went to Mercer County MO. He retured to WV after he contacted TB and wanted to come back. He died shortly after that and my great grandmother stayed out there. She and several of her children got typhoid fever and some of the children died. I have met several cousins on the internet from MO and Iowa that didn't know much about the Lusk either. My grandfather Reece A. Lusk passed away in May of 1937 and I was born in July of 1937. My brother and I plan to go to MO this fall if we can and meet with my cousins that I have met and talked with on the phone. On cousin is sick with cancer and I had hoped to meet her. I live in Kentucky, actually on the Kentucky and West Virginia border. Where do you live? Wyoming County West Virginia is where most of the Lusk came from. In early history it was a part of Tazewell County, Virginia. I will get back with you on what I have on Absolom Lusk. My book is not here at my computer. I am planning to go to Logan, WV to meet my cousin that did our history. She is visiting her neice. Will get back with you tomorrow or later tonight. Joyce
