Hi Marilyn!
I was browsing the messasge listings and came across your LUSK message. My mother's maternal lines include William Leonasrd LUSK from Virginia. His father Absolom LUSK and mother, Sarah "Jane" as she was called;(UNDERWOOD) LUSK. Absolom and Jane migrated to Missouri just before the Civil War. Absolom was killed during the Civil War (don't know if Union or Confederate though family lore states Union) left Jane a widow with 2 boys and 3 girls. I have located the family in Missouri via Census but would like to learn who Absolom's parents etc. were and anything about his Civil War experience my gr-grandfather Wm Leonard LUSK m. Fannie Massingale in MO and they migrated to Colorado. Eventually all G-Grandpa's sibs and mother went to Colo though GRGRGrandma Jane died in Oregon. She and her son Wm are buried in Rosehill Cem in Rifle, Garfield Cty, Colorado. Wopuld apprecitate any help you can give me. THANKS
