Sam Lusk--NC--TN--AL--TX (by 1836)

  of 1997

Seeking data on Samuel Lusk (b 1800 in NC) who wed A. W. ___ (b 1801 in KY), possibly in TN. In TN they may have had a son with initials P. H. In 1832 they had a son named John in AL. The family soon moved to TX (before 1837) where several more children were born. Sam was a member of the Washington Co, TX, Board of Land Commissioners as early as DEC 1839, and county clerk for many years. The 1850 census identifies Sam as a clerk and P. H. as a lawyer, possibly widowed with a one-year-old daughter named Mary.
