Hi Rosemary, I live in Pike County Kentucky and my Lusk came from Wyoming County, WV. There were many Lusk in the early history of Wyoming County which was at one time a part of Virginia before WV became a state. My grandparents came to Williamson, WV in 1906 from Wyoming County. There is a good reference book entitled "Reference Book on Wyoming County". This maynot be the exact title but you might contact the court house in Pineville, WV to get a correct title. There are several sites on the internet that you might find some info. Wait for others to reply to you also. I will have to search some out for you. I can't remember them off hand.
