I would like to know where Alexander falls in the Lusk line, I came across him as being distinguished as 1 of 9 teachers in the Johnson City, TN area, mid 1800's I believe in what was known then as Washington county area, I do know there was a LUsk school established and was located on North Roan and Watuaga street for sometime in the 1870's and taught grades 1-5. I do believe someone before him established the school however but not positive. Please let me know your family findings on him. I am waiting for more info on him from the OVerholzer genealogy information and hopefully can give you more in a week or two.
